Loathe it or ignore it, you can't enjoy it...

Well, the first review/spoiler is in. The big-screen adaptation of The Hitch-hiker's Guide To The Galaxy, one of my all-time favourite radio plays turned into a book turned into a text-based computer adventure game, will be in theatres soon. If you dare spoil the surprise, you can read about an early screening here: AintItCool.com

I still plan on seeing it, but something about Zaphod Beeblebrox not having the right number of heads has me a bit torqued. I'm not feeling hoopy about this at all.

This film may end up in the "Mostly Harmless" category, I'm afraid. Let's hope not.

For PA voters: The $antorum Watch site

Please bookmark this site if you live in PA and want to vote Rick Santorum out of office in 2006.

Santorumwatch.org

Here's how the Urban Dictionary defines the word "Santorum":

The sometimes frothy, usually slimy, amalgam of lubricant, stray fecal matter, and ejaculate that leaks out of the receiving partner's anus after a session of anal intercourse. Named, by popular demand and usage, after legislator Rick Santorum because of his homophobic political statements.

I agree. He's despicable.

The future of media & web?

Welcome to 2005.

This linked page, and its accompanying Flash-based content, is well worth the 8 minutes it takes to view it. The way things are moving forward, it's a very possible reality, one which we should avoid falling into.

"In the year 2014, The New York Times has gone offline.
The Fourth Estate's fortunes have waned.
What happened to the news?
And what is EPIC?"

Google, Microsoft, Amazon... is information free, or for sale?
Think about it.
